Shabbat at Home is a unique program that gives us an opportunity for our Temple Israel family to share the joys of Shabbat with a potluck dinner in the warmth of congregants’ homes. Shabbat at Home will take place on Friday night, 4 Nisan 5784 (April 12, 2024), the same evening as the congregational retreat. There will be no services at Temple that night.

BE A HOST: Please know that you are performing a Mitzvah by welcoming other congregants into your home. All you have to do is to provide the table settings; your guests will bring dinner. Temple Israel will provide to you a list of your guests and their contact information, and some helpful hints for celebrating Shabbat in your home. Please sign up on the web form below or call the Temple office by April 1.

BE A GUEST: If you prefer to participate in this wonderful program by providing a portion of the Shabbat meal and attending as a guest, please fill out the guest portion of the web form or call the Temple office by April 1, and we will match you to a host.
