Shofar on Torah

Selichot Program and Service

  • Date: Saturday, September 17, 2022
  • Time: 7:30pm10:00pm

This evening marks the beginning of the High Holy Days. Traditionally, Jews gather late at night on the Saturday before Rosh HaShanah to prepare for the Days of Awe. The late hour and themes articulated in the liturgy begin to set the tone for the days ahead. Together we shall prepare our hearts and minds. Please join us for our Selichot Program at 7:30 p.m., prior to the 9:00 p.m. Service.

Amy Rosenberg and the clergy will be guiding us as we work on a small, recycled, art project that encourages hands-on creativity and self-reflection. These art pieces are intended to be used as vessels to create rituals throughout the High Holy Day season and beyond. You do not have to be an artist to attend. We hope you will join us on what promises to be a very meaningful journey.
